This chapter is a supplement to the in-space tutorial, not a replacement. While in the EVE Universe you interact with your environment in five different ways:

2. The Ship Control Panel

From the Ship Control Panel you activate installed weapons, mining lasers, and modules; you can also open the scanner, cargohold and drone bay from here. Last, but not least, you can initiate the autopilot.

3. The Overview Scanner

The Overview scanner is a complete item overview and operation panel for all items around you, including your enemies, gang members, and your drones.
The Overview Scanner is split into 4 sections. Click here to learn more about the purpose of each section.
4. The Station Services

While your ship is in a station, you will have access to multiple services; access these by clicking on any of the buttons appearing on the right side. The services offered differ from station to station: some provide all available services, while others provide only a few.
